We are currently seeking a Production Technician Operator for our Vienna, Virginia office.
A Production Technician Operator operates broadcast related equipment, coordinates broadcast activities, including coverage of live captioning on all broadcast of network and other major producers of closed/open caption productions and communicates verbally and in written form with network clients, subcontractors and remote captioners, many times under stressful and time sensitive conditions; communicates with internal broadcast employees to provide technical services for production activities.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma. Minimum of two years video or broadcast training. Ability to work flexible hours. Must be knowledgeable and competent in operation of broadcast related equipment. Must have computer application skills (i.e., Microsoft Office.) Ability to communicate in sign language or the willingness to learn.
